L'Observatoire
 

Once you arrived by cable car, the Observatory restaurant will be pleased to welcome you. Situated at the top of the Moléson (2002 m.), you have a wonderful view on the Geneva lake, the Jura mountains, the Mont-Blanc and the Berner Oberland mountains.

At the peak of the highest slope of the canton, you can enjoy a sublime landscape, a local dishes and wine !

- Cheese fondue, Walliser fondue (tomatoes and potatoes)

- Handmade pies

And in the dark night...

Astronomy initiation evenings with an expert are organized (from 10 persons).

- Star-Gazing with telescopes from the top of the observatory with its opening roof

- Accommodation in dormitory (1 room with 30 beds + 1 room with 20 beds) + conference room at your disposal. Exceptional Price : (not included the funicular and cable car)

Adult : SFr. 69.—

Child : SFr. 54.—

(Star guide, supper, night in dorm and breakfast)

Particularities :
Access by funicular and cable car or hiking (around 3 hours).

The Observatory has a pyramidic roof, thanks to which the field of observation is extended to 360°.
The biggest binocular of the world is at disposal for the public.

The Observatory is equipped with telescopes, in case you plan a night for astronomical initiation.
The dorms countains 40 places to sleep.
